You know, for the past couple of days I have been wondering, why are the Isralites called "Isralites"? Just a curiosity question.

i think they're called that because they're from ancient israel and people just add "ites" at the end just like they do for Canaan(ites).

I think its because Abraham was thinking of a name and its was a Jew. I think this happend with isreal so isrealites came from a similar process

The Israelites are called the "Israelites" because it came from aincent israel
